In January 2023, the collaboration launched the enhancement with Model Home Activity Analytics. It’s the residential real estate industry’s first integrated platform that combines on-demand unattended access, AI-powered voice and chatbot technologies, and smart home security to create a relaxed environment where prospective home buyers can tour new homes on their terms. Alarm.com has shown success and impact to the business from this collaboration in the areas of growth and common client adoption from Toll Brothers, Stanley Martin, Century (Alarm.com by way of ADT/Safe Haven), Beazer, Shea, TriPointe, etc. UTour is in 33 states nationwide (3 Canadian provinces) and has executed over 200,000 tours. Alarm.com has generated over 15,500 hours of self-tour duration — that equates to 645 days of non-stop touring.

UTour™ reduces friction in the sales process by making it easy for home shoppers to enjoy interactive, self-guided tours of new homes on their schedules. Due to the flexible nature of the tour, builders can curate an easier experience for home shoppers to find their dream home. Because this feature is integrated with Alarm.com’s security capabilities in the model homes, the security system automatically deactivates once a home shopper enters the four-digit code to unlock the door and begin the tour. The security system reactivates automatically at the tour’s conclusion, protecting the Builder’s assets. Ultimately, this tool increases walk-through traffic, creates lead generation, and reduces a home’s time on the market, allowing the builder to sell more homes quickly.
