Sean Weiner is the Co-founder and President of Spexi, LLC and Spexi Advisory. The company’s mission is to revolutionize the homebuilding industry by advancing the use of cutting-edge lighting, energy, and technology solutions while simplifying complex processes using innovative software and intuitive presentation methods. Before this role, Sean was a founding member of Bravas, the nation's premier luxury residential smart home integration firm. Prior to his involvement with Bravas, he served as the President of Starr Systems Design, a renowned electronic systems and electrical contracting firm based in Baltimore, Maryland. Sean's journey in the industry began when he graduated from the University of Delaware in 1990 with a degree in Economics. He gained hands-on experience as an installation technician at an audio/video and lighting systems contractor in the Baltimore area and later as a designer with a custom retailer in the Washington, D.C. region. In the summer of 1994, he founded Starr Systems Design, overseeing its remarkable growth from a small three-employee audio and video systems provider to a thriving firm with 45 employees. The company specialized in lighting, electronic systems, electrical contracting, and security systems. Recognized for his expertise, Sean Weiner is a certified CEDIA outreach instructor and holds a distinguished place in the Lutron Hall of Fame. He has also authored and contributed to educational and promotional articles for leading industry magazines, the National Homebuilders Association, and various local publications. With a rich background in technology and a proven track record in business leadership, Sean Weiner is at the forefront of transforming the homebuilding industry into a technologically advanced and user-friendly field.
