Jerry Calder is currently the Director of Builder and Security sales for Snap One, focused on increasing the adoption of Snap One brands including Control4, an automation and control brand as well as ClareOne, a security solution for the residential production builder. Calder’s team utilizes Snap One’s network of over 15,000 consumer electronic and security install professionals to provide a comprehensive offering for production builders. Prior to joining Snap One / Control4, Calder served many roles in his 11 years at Legrand which included VP of Builder Sales for On-Q/Legrand where he was responsible for managing a team of builder sales agents as they worked with production builders throughout the US to include On-Q products in new construction homes. He was also responsible for expanding the successful On-Q Builder Program by including products from other Legrand companies in North America, enabling the team to provide both the electrical and the home systems solutions desired by builders and homebuyers nationwide. Before joining the Legrand family, Calder served as the director of builder and contractor sales for Circuit City in Richmond, Va. He was responsible for lead creation and growth, relationship management between multiple departments, and creating a diverse and balanced business portfolio. Calder has also worked as the director of builder and contractor sales for Ultimate Electronics, based in Denver, Co. During his 12 year tenure in Denver, he developed and implemented the first retail-based home builder integration services organization and designed solutions-based sales processes for home builders.
