JD Tofteland has been in the new home industry from an early age. Starting with a tree house construction company as a young entrepreneur for the neighborhood kids in his hometown of Rapid City South Dakota, to pursuing a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas, and now supporting the National New Home and Commercial solar operations at Infinity Energy Construction. His desire to build sustainably though innovative products, techniques, and a people first approach has driven him into the ever evolving solar and EV space. Since 2015 JD has been partnering with local and national home builders to increase adoption of advanced technologies to differentiate their offering driving significant ROIs, and homebuyer value. Today he is teamed up with a world class operation veteran and together they are building a national organization whose foundation is enhanced through partnerships with jobsite trades to ensure a cohesive build process.
